The Hybrid Classroom is about using the Internet, Educational Technology, Computational Thinking, and Computer Science to support, expand upon, and improve learning in the classroom.

My name is Richard White, and I teach at a small, K-12 independent school in southern California.

I teach both natural science classes (primarily AP Physics C at this point) and computer science classes (AP Computer Science and others). I support the use of technology in the classroom for one simple reason:

Teaching, learning, and our entire world has been turned upside down by the prevalence of technology. It is our charge to help students acquire the tools they need to excel, and increasingly, those tools are technology-based.
